If an emergency happens, be prepared with the following items:

Keep a first aid kit in the garage area. Maintain it properly. First aid may make the difference between quick recovery and permanent injury.

Mount a fire extinguisher in the garage area. Adults in the home should be trained on how to use it.

Install a working smoke alarm in the garage. Test upon installation and every three months.
